Capstone Project: Terrorism Analysis

Synopsis: Worked with a group to analyze a dataset of all terrorist acts
from major terrorist organizations from 1972 – 2022. I connected to a
Cloud Mongo Database to analyze the data, integrated code which
accessed the New York Times API for news articles, created GeoJSON and
Plotly maps, applied hierarchical clustering to some features in the
dataset, and set up the Flask application.

Synopsis: Created a map of Philadelphia detailing crime from 2021-2022 and
districts which are classified as high in poverty.I converted all
excel files downloaded from opendataphilly.com to GeoJSON files in
order to plot the data on Leafletjs maps.
